We were on the Danube Cycle Path from Donaueschingen to Passau. Whatever the reason, the left pedal arm / crank rod on my bike became loose and I also lost the fixing screw, and that on Sunday morning. It was therefore not possible to continue driving. In the Käppler estate we were helped !!!! The necessary screw with a fine thread (rather rare) was unscrewed from a rental bike and given to me, and that on Sunday morning, so we could continue our tour without any worries. Thanks again for this excellent service !!

I do not doubt that the food is really good ... but the following happened to us: We took a seat at one of the many empty tables on the terrace. The resolute boss of the house "kicked us off" and told us that we had to wait until she assigned us a place. Because of this unfriendliness, we immediately went on with our bikes and looked for another restaurant for dinner. We will certainly not be offered that. You should be able to show decency and character at this high age - never again!

The estate is a wonderful place to relax with the whole family. Even in bad weather you can experience a lot there. There is a straw castle with lots of straw for romping and climbing, a trampoline and table tennis. You can also watch and feed the rabbits, guinea pigs and horses in the barn. Among other things, they also offer attractions such as horse riding. There are enough playgrounds to let off steam and dig. There is a sunbathing area on the Danube where you can go swimming when the weather is nice. We couldn't try many of the attractions on offer, such as the barbecue area, sauna, etc. due to the short time. We enjoyed a short trip as a large family with my parents and my sister and your family there. Since we were six adults and two children, we booked the Rabenfelsen apartment. It had 3 separate bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen where you could spend long evenings together. The surrounding area is beautiful and invites to hikes and romantic walks. The bread service in the morning is great. We won't be there the last time.

Very nice farm with nice hosts and restaurant. Class program points for children (horseback riding, feeding animals) and a nice swimming spot in the Danube. The only complaint is the nearby street: during the week it is no problem. On weekends and public holidays there are so many loud booming motorcycles go by, that you almost have the feeling to live on a highway

On an excursion on foot or motorcycle, keep returning there. Despite full house - nice & friendly. Delicious food inclusive.
